The GENTLE Bar was formulated to specifically help those with sensitive skin.

Unscented and uncoloured, the BARE bar is formulated using a double dose of coconut milk to provide extra creamy lather, which normally comes from oils that are considered “high cleansing”. High cleansing oils (while amazing - hello 🥥 coconut oil!) are used in a lesser amount in the GENTLE Bar to provide room for softer, hydrating specialty oils, perfect for sensitive skin.

Our GENTLE Bar has oils infused with gentle chamomile, known to assist with skin irritations, inflammation and provide a gentle boost of moisture to our skin’s outer layers.

Ingredients

Chamomilla Recutita (Chamomile)*  Infused Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Aqua (Water), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera Extract (Coconut Milk), Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil

*Certified Organic/Sustainably Wildcrafted Ingredient

Cocoa Butter: High in fatty acids, cocoa butter is both hydrating and nourishing for the skin

Shea Butter: Softens and moisturizes skin for a soft, velvety feeling

Chamomile: Known to assist with skin irritations and inflammation & provides a gentle moisture boost

Tips & FAQs

Usage: Wet, lather, rinse, repeat (if desired).

Storage: We suggest using a soap tray to help your soap drain and air-dry in-between uses. Leaving your soap to sit in water will allow it to soften and the lifespan of your bar of soap will shorten.

Warnings

Our GENTLE Bar is specifically designed for sensitive skin, however, if you find you are experiencing sensitization, discontinue use immediately.

  • I have suffered from extremely sensitive skin all my life...

finding clean & natural products that work, has been challenging! I have been using Pearl & Moss soaps, bath soaks & lip balm, and have had no allergic reactions or skin dryness/eczema.

  • I love Pearl & Moss products!

Our first bar of shampoo lasted 2 months for 2 of us.  My hair is feeling amazing with the ACV Rinse once a week.

  • A little clay goes a long way!

I have not been disappointed in any product purchased from Pearl and Moss Botanicals, but I will say that my absolute fave is the Bath Soak Collection... Oh, and I also really like the fact that Sarah’s products are packed in paper, tin or glass!! That’s a real bonus for me!

  • Love love love the Rosehip Exfoliant bar!

I use this about once a week in my shower routine during the winter to get rid of dry skin before adding moisture. It doesn’t have an overwhelming smell or super rough exfoliant that it’s hurting your skin. It’s actually gentle enough that I even use it on my face occasionally. Plus all the Rose makes me feel extra radiant! Highly recommend!
